For the ING New York City Marathon, ASICS let fans step into the shoes of an elite marathoner.

Ryan Hall, America's fastest marathoner, runs an average of 4:46 a mile. So, ASICS created The Treadmill Challenge, custom-built to run exactly at Ryan's speed. They put the treadmill on the back of a truck, and let New Yorkers test how long they can keep up at Ryan's pace.
